I've got the standard Rock Crusher and have used it at home and live. It reacts to some amps better than others. I found it didn't like the higher gain Marshall circuits, but was good with Budda, Matchless Mesa and Fender types.

Jan 21, 2015· You may like the Ultimate by comparison only your ears can tell you that. If you want a true attenuator then the Rivera is it. The Fryette Power station is also an option for you that is getting good initial reviews you may want to check out. Used the Ultimate and Rivera are in the 300 to 400 range.
